As a Clinical Manager, you will provide leadership direction and management of clinical processes and initiatives within the hospital. Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical support and direction to the DOP and pharmacy staff in the hospital.
• Build and enhance professional relationships with pharmacy staff and management.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff, hospital and system pharmacy management.
• Provide pharmaceutical care to selected patients.
• Develop drug therapy review programs and document their results.
• Active participation in the management process of the hospital.
• Active participation in P&T Committee meetings.
• Coordinate vendor activity to support formulary decisions.
• Establish procedures that insure optimum performance for applicable audits.
• Development and coordination of clinically related quality improvement programs that meet all proprietary, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Participate in the assessment and evaluation of professional staff.
• Provide in-service education to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff.
• Train and educate pharmacy staff to provide pharmaceutical care and practice Econotherapeutic related concepts.
• Participate in the publication of educational material directed at hospital health care professionals.
• Direct and coordinate clinical clerkship programs for pharmacy and other health care professional trainees.

Qualifications:

• PharmD preferred.
• 3-5 years experience managing clinical programs is required.
• Pharmacy license in the state.
• Proven customer service skills.
